Step back to the 1940s and come dressed from the era for the 80th anniversary of the historic D-Day Landings this June.

The Cheltenham Trust is marking the landmark World War II anniversary, lighting a beacon on Thursday 6 June, followed by a community celebration on Sunday 9 June at Pittville Pump Room. Prizes will be awarded for the child and adult with the best 1940s look.

The Heritage Café will transform into a wartime tea-room, serving afternoon tea accompanied by live music from the era from vintage singer Miss Em and DJ Rob McElvanney and dances from the 1940s. Come and join us from 1pm.
