To deliver safe, professional swimming lessons to children and adults of all ages and abilities.

• To welcome all participants, promoting a positive image, and deal with any questions or comments in an effective way passing them onto the relevant manager
• Plan and deliver a structured lesson/class/session in accordance with the guidelines of the recognised governing body and the program operating procedures.
• Oversee the work of the assistant instructors within the lesson/class/session were relevant
• Ensure health and safety of all lesson/class/session participants
• Complete registers, check tickets, and maintain accurate records to help control admissions and record the progress of individuals relevant to the activity being undertaken
• Complete course/session assessments as required and update participants’ records on OnCourse against recognised guidelines
• To be fully prepared, ensure the safety of all equipment and activity area prior to the start of the lesson/class/session reporting any issues to the Duty manager and team leader
• To be flexible to the needs of the role, attending training courses as appropriate the business requirements
