With the sun promising to shine this Easter, head over to the Garden Bar in Imperial Gardens for a weekend of free music and dance sessions to coincide with the Swing Dance Festival at Cheltenham Town Hall.

On Saturday at 11am you can show off your moves at our free taster Charleston dance session with none other than Strictly choreographer Jenny Thomas, who will show you all the steps to make you look like a natural. And on Easter Sunday international dance teacher, Nicky Key, will lead a join-in fitness dance session from 11.15am.

Then bag your table to enjoy a daily menu of hot and cold food, including our popular pizzas, plus a range of alcoholic and soft drinks, while being entertained by music from some of our most popular entertainers.

On Saturday Cheltenham’s favourite jazz maestro Peter Gill will be playing popular swing classics from 1pm, while Sunday sees the return of the Honeymoon Swing Band from 1pm to coincide with the festival. Sit back with a glass of something cold or get up on to the dance floor to practice your new moves!

The Garden Bar’s new spring hours start this Friday, opening from Monday to Thursday, 10.30am – 6pm, Friday & Saturday, 10.30am – 7.30pm, Sunday, 10.30am – 4pm.
